Lord Lieutenant

Hertfordshire

Royal Visits

There have been four Royal Visits to Hertfordshire so far this year.

On Friday 2 December, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal formally opened the new Teaching and Research Centre at the Royal Veterinary College, North Mymms.  The Lord Lieutenant was in attendance.   Her Royal Highness enjoyed a tour of the Centre's facilities meeting academic staff and students en-route and Professor Dominic Wells gave a brief presentation on the College's translational comparative medical research.  The photograph shows the Lord Lieutenant presenting the Vice-Chancellor of the University of London, Professor Geoffrey Crossick.

On Thursday 8 November, HRH The Duke of Gloucester visited Hertfordshire to formally open St Mary's High School, Cheshunt (Photo below), and the new Law Faculty Building which forms part of the University of Hertfordshire.

The Vice Lord Lieutenant, Richard Beazley was also in attendance.
